Olav V, born July 2, 1903 at Appleton House near Sandringham, Norfolk, Great Britain, died January 17, 1991 in Holmenkollen, was born Prince of Denmark, but through his father's throne entry as Norwegian King 1905 he lost his Danish title, instead to grow up as Norwegian crown prince. He became King of Norway on September 21, 1957. Märtha of Sweden, born Princess Märtha Sophia Lovisa Dagmar Thyra of Sweden and Norway, by Bernard Bernard 28 March 1901 in the Hove Assembly of Stockholm, died April 5, 1954 at the Rikshospitalet in Oslo, was a Swedish princess and crown prince of Norway, daughter of Prince Carl of Sweden and the princess Ingeborg of Denmark. Märtha was a cousin of King Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden.
