Front: Corruption in Italy, after the 1980 earthquake in the area of Irpinia, Southern Italy. Government Money was poured into the area. One project was Nerilo-Muro Lucano Superstrada work was given to go. Ahead in 1983, and The Estimated cost was 26 Billion Lira for the 37km road. In 1991 a commission of investigation estimated the cost at that point to be 320 Billion, Lira and the road was still not finished. Since a Potenza Magistrate has been Investigating the increased cost, all work on the road has been suspended. A local farm worker find a use for the incomplete road, on his way home from work.
