Line Lusta (Original Title: A Streetcar Named Desire) is an American drama film from 1951 directed by Elia Kazan, with Marlon Brando and Vivien Leigh in the lead. The film's script is written by Tennessee Williams and builds on his play of the same title. The film had Swedish premiere on February 13, 1952.Marlon Brando, Jr. (April 3, 1924 â July 1, 2004) was an American actor, film director and political activist. He is credited with bringing realism to film acting. He helped to popularize the Stanislavski system of acting, studying with Stella Adler in the 1940s.
